The Ministry of Science and Technology

The Ministry of Science and Technology was created on June 25, 2012 to allow for greater national focus on Science and Technology as one of the key platforms for Trinidad and Tobago’s economic diversification and sustainable development. In pursuit of this goal, the Ministry’s mandate includes:-

Science and Technology Policy Formulation; Information and Communication Technology Strategy and Policy Management; e-Government Systems Integration; and Management of the Government ICT Backbone.
